A faithful servant of the Lord went home to Heaven on Christmas day. Lois Heckman was a long-time employee of Water Street Mission. Her desire to see women’s lives changed through the love of Jesus can be seen by her faithful service at the mission. Lois filled many roles during her time here, she helped start the Lydia Center, was a counselor and the women’s director. Lois had a heart for the hurting and at-risk mothers that walked through our doors and she will be dearly missed by all who had a relationship with her.
