So what do you do when the temperatures are dropping fast and expected wind chills are below zero?  Well, here at Water Street Mission, after we’re done making sure we’re well-staffed for the potential influx of guests, have coordinated with our partner organizations in the city and have done everything we can to prepare … we heat things up with a little Chili Cookoff!

While our Campus Pastor, Michael Booth and Life Coach, Shannon Secrist certainly had some considerable game, the final props went to our Residential Ministries Director, Carrie Kurtz! Congratulations to Carrie – who won the coveted Golden Plunger award!
