Discover the age requirements to volunteer with Water Street.

Age Requirements

Please note the following guidelines for liability and safety purposes:

  • The minimum age to serve at Water Street Mission (WSM) is 13 years old.
  • Youth ages 13-15 must serve with and be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian. A parent/legal guardian must complete and submit a Minor Liability Waiver prior to the minor’s serve date.
  • Youth ages 16-17 must serve with and be accompanied at all times by an adult who is responsible for the minor (i.e., parent, legal guardian, teacher, coach or youth leader). A parent/legal guardian must complete and submit a Minor Liability Waiver prior to the minor’s serve date.
