What Makes Compelled By Love So Unique?
Compelled by Love is an annual gathering of Lancaster County pastors and leaders that aims to spark a movement of ‘loving your neighbor’ in our congregations and in turn, our community. At Compelled we prioritize being together, diving deep into conversation, and learning from one another.
This Year’s Topic – Loving Your Neighbors: Remembering Those Living In Poverty.
Who Should Attend?
Senior pastors and their leadership teams in Lancaster County who are thinking creatively about leading their church to love their neighbors
What’s Happening
8:00 AM – Doors Open/Check in
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Morning Sessions
Engaging Our Reality
---
With all the resources and goodness in Lancaster county, the fact that poverty persists is heart wrenching. In our morning sessions, we’ll spend some time in lament and worship before the Lord. We’ll learn what poverty looks like, not just in our city but our county as a whole, and highlight opportunities for moving forward.
12:00 PM – 12:45 PM – Catered Lunch
12:45 PM – 4:00 PM – Afternoon Sessions
Exploring Our Response
---
Transformation happens best in relationship. Our afternoon sessions will consider: How can we take a more relational approach? What is truly helpful? How can we leverage what God has given us as individual churches to love our neighbors well?
