PRESS ADVISORY FOR August 31st
Water Street Mission, Lancaster Bible College, Willow Valley, and WJTL Unite Together for an Evening of Praise across Lancaster County
Lancaster Faith Communities Adapt their 2nd Annual Reverberate Night of Worship to Meet in Various Locations, and Overcome COVID-19 Obstacles.
Lancaster, PA (August 31, 2020) – Reverberate Lancaster, a night of praise that unifies believers across denominations, will be meeting in dozens of locations throughout the county. Last year, over 1500 attendees gathered at Spooky Nook Sports complex, but to meet guidelines and reduce large gatherings, attendees will meet in homes, churches, backyards and parking lots around Lancaster, so believers can uplift one another while still maintaining the safety standards set by Governor Wolf.
The all county event, which will take place on September 22, 2020, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, invites all participants to join a broadcast from three local church locations throughout the evening, and be united in praise. They’ll also have the opportunity to share stories of how God has showed up in this difficult year and pray for one another.
In discussing why it was so important to overcome the barriers presented by COVID-19, Jack Crowley, President of Water Street Mission stated, “So many families, churches and businesses are feeling the impact of the times we are living in. We want to take a moment to show our faith in the midst of everything and recognize how God is still faithful to us. This year, it feels important to carry on, and help each other recognize the ways Christ brings us together. We are so thankful to our supporters and sponsors who have continued to be faithful and are choosing to help us spread this message of trusting in God and celebrating his goodness.”
