Investing Beyond Today

If you’re age 70½ or older, you can make a meaningful gift to support our ministry and mission by giving directly from your IRA.

This special way of giving is known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), and it allows you to give tax-free from your traditional IRA directly to a qualified nonprofit like Water Street Mission. Your gift counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and is not included in your taxable income.

100% of your gift goes toward supporting Christ-centered care and a path forward for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Lancaster County.
