Supporting Our Community

Community Outreach Through Our Food Pantry in Lancaster

At Water Street Mission’s 12 & 1 Center, we recognize that many people in our community are navigating difficult choices – like whether to pay for housing or buy groceries. Our choice-based food pantry provides access to nutritious food, but our mission extends beyond meeting immediate physical needs.

We seek to engage each person holistically through prayer, meaningful conversation, and connections to resources, classes, case management, and supportive services.

The pantry becomes more than a place to receive food; it is a welcoming community where people find connection, encouragement, and hope. Our desire is for every individual to experience God’s provision and to know they are seen, supported, and not alone.

Anyone from the community looking for groceries may come at the following times:

9AM-1PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday.

To help make the registration process as smooth as possible, we encourage you to bring a form of identification when you visit. To ensure we can serve as many individuals and families as possible, we ask that only one member of each household attend per week.

We are located at 121 South Prince Street. Go here for directions.

Host a Drive for our Food Pantry

We serve 300+ meals a day in our dining hall and provide groceries to hundreds of members of our community each week. By hosting a drive, you can help us provide for those who are most vulnerable.
