Water Street’s community food bank in Lancaster, uplifting families to experience God’s provision in their lives.
Many in our Lancaster community face difficult decisions between paying rent and buying groceries. At Water Street’s community food bank we provide nutritious food to help combat this issue, but also take the opportunity to pray or build community with every individual who comes through our doors. It’s more than a place to receive food, it’s a point of connection and encouragement.
In the end we want each person to experience God’s provision in their lives and know they are not alone in trying times.
Did you know that rather than handing out pre-made boxes of food, all individuals and families who step through our doors have the choice of deciding what available food they’d like for their families?
Anyone from the community looking for groceries may come any week at the following times:
Tuesday: 12:30pm-2:30pm, or Wednesday 10:00am-12:00pm or Friday 10:00am-12:00 pm.
Please note, you must bring a photo ID to verify.
We are located at 210 South Prince Street on the corner of Conestoga and South Prince Street. See our campus map here. Feel free to check out this blog post answering common questions you might have!
We serve 300+ meals a day in our dining hall and provide groceries to thousands of members of our community each week. By hosting a drive, you can help us provide for those who are most vulnerable.
