Leading Chapel
(Great for groups)

About: Evening chapel is intended to be a time of scripturally grounded, interactive engagement. Rather than preaching at our guests, chapel is designed to be a conversation with our guests. Whether you organize a night of praise and worship, a mini drama or a sermonette, chapel is a great opportunity to build relationships with our guests and encourage them in their current season of life. We ask that you allow at least 15 minutes at the end of the teaching time to talk and pray with the guests, should they choose to approach you personally. A chapel team should be composed of 3-5 people, and the leader should be a seasoned leader in his/her congregation. Groups offer the best possible chapel experience and more personal interaction for our guests. Contact Sarah at soliphant@wsm.org or call (717) 358-2069.

Requirements: A love for people and a servant’s heart.

Age minimum: 18

Time commitment: 7-8 p.m. Saturdays; or 5th Thursdays; or 5th Fridays and on call in case of a cancellation by another team.
