Who Are Mission Catalysts?

Mission Catalysts are a community of partners that are uniquely invested in Water Street Mission and our healing work among the poor in Lancaster County.

A Deeper Look at Water Street

"Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works." Hebrews 10:24-25

Not only do Mission Catalysts get a deeper look into Water Street Mission, you often get the first look at new programs, services and projects we take on. Each meeting, we pull back the curtain to show you our upcoming plans or include you in our strategic thinking, as we aim to address needs in our community. 

A Chance to Offer Feedback

"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another." 1 Peter 4:10

Each Mission Catalyst is invited based on their unique skills and perspective, as well as their heart for those we serve. Community has been key in Water Street’s success for over 100 years, and we rely on the Mission Catalyst community to help our vision flourish through their feedback and insights.

A Common Goal

Each of our Mission Catalysts share a desire to see our neighbors uplifted and thriving and want to actively be a part of making Lancaster an inclusive, and restorative community. It’s never a bad day when you get to spend time with such Kingdom-minded men and women! 

Joining Mission Catalysts means sharing a unique passion with others who want to care for overlooked members of our community.
