We invest in early childhood education, particularly for low-income families, to give kids the best start in life.
Wonder Academy is made possible by a partnership with Water Street Mission, donors, and many generous businesses that give through EITC gifts.
When Deja turned 3, it was no surprise to her family that she would join Wonder Academy. Her two older brothers had already come through, and now, it was her turn.
As she experienced Wonder Academy for the first time, she found a safe place for her to learn and grow, and discover the love of God. Just like her brothers, she’s built a strong academic foundation that will take her far in school, and now she’s prepared to take on first grade as her older siblings did.
But Deja isn’t the only one who gets to join in on the fun! Her little sister started classes in Pre-K and loves it too! And next year, their youngest child will be joining our program.
5 children in one family – all schooled by Wonder Academy! It’s such a joy to be a part of Deja and her sibling’s lives, as they trust us to educate and care for their family at such a young and crucial age!

A little over twenty years ago, David* attended Wonder Academy as a child. As he grew up, he couldn’t seem to forget the impact his early education had on his life. He had learned how to navigate school, and find success, but also what it means to be a child of God.
When David started his own family, it was clear he wanted his son to have the same opportunities and life-giving experiences. He knew he wanted to sign his young son Jonathan* up for Wonder Academy.
Now we get to experience 2 generations of students coming through our doors, and give them a leg up in learning, as they build a Christ-filled future ahead! We can’t wait to see what Jonathan does with his future, whether he carves out his own path, or gives us another generation to cherish!
