Custodian - Facilities Team Member

This position is part of the facilities team and will assist in keeping the mission looking and running well. Specifically, you will be in charge of our central supply area and keeping it well stocked, so that supplies can be distributed to different areas of the mission as needed.

You will also be responsible for keeping the public areas of Water Street Mission welcoming, clean, and inviting for all those that visit, stay, and work at the mission.

If you enjoy working in a fun, team oriented environment and if you are detail oriented, organized, and take pride in the appearance of your work, this may be the position for you.

This position is 40 hours a week on day shift. You should have some experience in supply ordering as well as janitorial and general warehouse duties. Some computer skills are also needed for supply ordering, emailing, and inventory tracking. Some forklift or small box truck experience is preferred, but is not essential. Full-time StepUp Coach

Do you see yourself working in an environment where you can make a difference in the lives of people in need?  The Full-time StepUp Coach will be joining the StepUp team within Residential Ministries and will be working to help guests prepare for gainful employment.  Some duties of this position may include creating a clear plan to employment through work assignments/career development activities as well as helping guests develop work skills and tackle personal challenges that may be preventing them from maintaining long-term employment.

Full Time Access Center Administrative Assistant

Volunteer Services Assistant

The Volunteer Services Assistant supports the Volunteer Coordinator. Together, they play a critical role in making sure
our many volunteers have a great experience, one that blesses both our guests and the volunteer. Ideally, we strive to provide a volunteer experience but helps the volunteer grow personally. At the very least, we want to help individuals and groups choose to volunteer on a regular basis.

Toward this end, the Volunteer Services Assistant interacts with current and potential volunteers, guiding them
through the process of orientation, scheduling/volunteering, and appreciation. They screen and place
individuals doing community service. And they provide logistical support for all aspects of the volunteer

Partner Services Data Administrator

The Data Administrator plays a critical role in helping Water Street Mission build partnerships and relationships with the community so that our efforts have the maximum potential to help our guests. The administrator will be in the position to ensure all data received is properly captured and useful to the advancement team while also ensuring its integrity for financial reconciliation. The work done in Raisers Edge provides insight into trends that inform strategic decisions. Accounts Payable and Finance Clerk

Are you a financial professional who wants to apply your expertise in support of a mission-driven organization? Water Street Ministries is looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping people. This position would be approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, with a semi-negotiable work schedule on day shift. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in finance administration: accounts payable, payroll, bookkeeping, and related finance tasks. Water Street Mission is looking for FT 2nd Shift Male Life Coach. Our ideal candidate is a team player, who is flexible and able to problem solve, on their feet, in complex situations. The Life Coach will support Guests through a personal progressive plan of life renewal by partnering with a team of Life Coaches, Case Managers, and other staff by actively participating in a healing environment and the Core Values of Water Street Mission.

This position would be about 40 hours per week and include every third weekend. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in the area of Human Services – specifically mental health, social services and/or addictions. Competency in Microsoft Office products. WSHS Office Manager

The Office Manager provides oversight and assures the timely completion of all administrative tasks needed to efficiently operate all clinics. This includes patient scheduling, patient processing, HIPAA compliance, and supervision of staff & volunteers. Water Street Mission is looking for PT 1st & 2nd Shift Female Life Coach Assistant, individuals that are a team player, flexible and able to problem solve in various situations. FT Dental Assistant

Water Street Mission is a nonprofit organization, located in Lancaster city that helps in the restoration of individuals facing homelessness. The FT Dental Assistant helps keep up with the flow of the dental clinic, by sterilizing instruments, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and providing treatment and services to patients. The good candidate will also be responsible for taking and processing radiographs and responsible for upkeep of dental clinic. This strong candidate will possess a positive attitude and good attention to detail. Should already be working in a dental office and a certification in radiology is preferred. Full-Time Cook

Water Street Mission is currently searching for a full-time Cook in the Food Services Department. This role will assist in food services by preparing and serving food items according to menu specifications and food safety practices as directed by supervisor and ensuring that proper sanitation and food safety procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for operating and cleaning various kitchen equipment. Heavy lifting of 50lbs is required and computer proficiency is essential. The candidate will have a Serv Safe Certification and a degree in culinary arts is preferred. This is a non-exempt position, eligible for benefits.
